Zsofin Sheehy is a filmmaker based in Canada’s Pacific Northwest, and the founder of Wandering Eye Media.

Personable, flexible, and highly intuitive, Zsofin is passionate about working in congruence with other people, and has a keen focus on detail.

Past film projects include cinematography for ‘Apron Strings,’ which won the 2013 Canadian International Film Festival’s Award of Excellence. Cinematography for the 2013 music video ‘Gravity’, produced by Handle Bar Media, for Montreal based musician ‘Akua’, which featured on MTV Iggy, Pigeons & Planes, Okay Africa, and Exclaim. As well as ‘The Jam Space’ with Yo Kang Global Media, comprised of ten short documentaries that highlighted the talents of local musicians in Victoria, British Columbia.

Zsofin was a featured artist at the 2013 Integrate Arts Festival in Victoria, BC and the guest filmmaker at MediaNet’s summer camp ‘Filmmaking for Teens,’ while funded by the Canada Council for the Arts. In recent past she has worked for the Victoria Art Gallery, as well as for renowned textile artist Carole Sabiston, and alongside one of Canada’s foremost contemporary print makers, Pat Martin Bates.

Though covering a diverse range of topics and subjects, her creative style most often follows her mission to reveal the raw romanticism of life through captured moments.
